Took Tony to his very first match today. At first, he thought the whole thing
was very weird (silly humans!). But took Breed, then Gr 1, in spite of his
consternation. Then, during the first go-round in the Best in Match ring, his
"show dog gene" clicked on, and everything changed. Suddenly he was like, "I
get it! I can do this!" And he started strutting his stuff and showing off for the
judge like he'd done it a dozen times. I'm sure "cute points" helped the
decision, and I'm hoping this isn't a jinx for his future, lol!
He won two toys that are bigger than he is, and a glass candy jar. I took the
pics of him sitting in it (kinda hard to see). Not quite as spectacular as
Great-Grandpa Kirby posing in the Westminster BIS bowl, but fun!
